6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Heb. 11:6, NKJV)
The second requirement for us to receive the reward of God according to Hebrews 6 is to live a life that pleases Him.
9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences. (2 Cor. 5:9-12, NKJV)
The Bible is very clear that we shall all appear before the judgment seat and everyone will be accountable for their life. We shall also receive a reward that is comensurate to our actions. Therefore, as a believer, you must always introspect and see whether your life is pleasing to the Lord.
You must strive to ensure that you are living a life that is pleasing God in your mind and your body. Even as you seek God and serve Him, ensure that you are living your life in accordance to His word. You do this by constantly enquring from God in everything you do, as we shall see later.
May the whole of your being be stirred to desire to live a life that pleases the Lord and may He give you the grace to live a life that pleases Him.
