March: The Month of God’s Reward

March: The Month of God's Reward

But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, yes, things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner. 10 For God is not unjust to forget your work and [a]labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Heb. 6: 9-12, NKJV).

If you are to relate with God, you must always anticpate a reward from him because the Bible tells us that our God is a rewarder.

The Oxford dictionary defines a reward as something you are given because of a good deed done or because of working hard.

A reward is not to be confused with payment. While payment has obligations tied to it, a reward is more of a favor and out of the willingness and good heart of the rewarder. Our God both rewards and pays. As we walk with Him and fulfill His assignments on Earth, we can rest assured that He has set up rewards for us.

Recently, during a time of prayer and reflection, the Lord spoke to me clearly, that March is the month of rewards. He assured me that He will reward His people abundantly, according to His riches in glory.

Sometimes, we may find ourselves waiting for payments to be made or debts to be settled. But when God steps in with His reward, our concerns seem too small in comparison to what his reward can do. It can thrust us forward, sometimes years ahead of where we thought we could be.

As you enter the month of March, have an assurance in your heart that God is indeed a rewarder and raise an expectation in your heart to receive his reward.
