Sing, barren woman you who never bore a child;
burst into song, shout for joy,
you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband,”
says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:1, NIV).
Yesterday, we described the song in the above verse and its uniqueness. We also said that song of faith is not inspired by situations around you but by obedience to faith.
3 And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak (2 Cor. 4: 13, NKJV).
Songs are vehicles that move us into the spiritual realm. The woman in Isaiah 54:1 is being asked to transcend from her natural reality and interpret her situation not from a carnal mind but from a spiritual standpoint. Songs carry us into the reality of what we are verbalizing. This year you must sing so that you are not detached from what God is speaking over you.
How do you sing?
My heart is overflowing with a good theme;
I recite my composition concerning the King;
My tongue is the pen of a ready writer (Psalms 45:1, NKJV)
A song is a phrase repeated or recited many times. You sing by believing and spontaneously speaking what you have heard from God until it becomes an overflowing theme in your heart
