The Four Kinds of Wisdom
By Rev. Eve Kiara
Wisdom simply defined is the philosophy of life. It is also the information or knowledge you have that you can apply in your practical life to help you make decisions and act in a certain way.
21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. 22 For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; 23 but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a [i]stumbling block and to the [j]Greeks foolishness, 24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. (1 Cor. 1:21-25, NKJV)
The second kind of wisdom is the wisdom of God. Only Jesus with his wisdom could raise a dead man. When we apply the wisdom of God in our lives nothing is impossible. When David applied the wisdom of God he was able to fight, when Esther applied the wisdom of God she was able to save the jews, when Moses applied the wisdom of God, he defeated Pharaoh just with the word of God.
The third kind of wisdom is Faith. From the verse above faith is a stumbling block to some people and thus are unable to receive what God has secured for them. Such kinds of people are not even able to wait. You must train yourself how to wait because there is wisdom in waiting. Â
It is when you wait that your muscles are built up and it’s also here that God tests you so that he can trust you with resources.
The fourth kind of wisdom is Christ. Jesus is the wisdom of God personified. If Christ is in you you are wise.
